Good Day, Bad Day 6/5: Roller Coaster Retiring & Principal Serenaded in Senior Prank

It was a bad day for fans of the Colossus roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, just north Los Angeles. The so-called king of wooden roller coasters will be retired in August. Park officials have not said what will replace it. It had been in operation since 1978.

It was a good day for seniors at Santa Barbara High School in Southern California. For their senior prank, they got a mariachi band to follow around their principal, serenading home down the hallways.
