Reality star Luann de Lesseps has checked herself into an alcohol treatment center.

The "Real Housewives of New York City" star announced on Friday she is seeking treatment after being arrested by police in Palm Beach, Florida, on Christmas Eve.

De Lesseps, 52, was detained and accused of disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on a law enforcement officer, People.com reports.

She had been discovered trespassing in a hotel room with an unidentified man, according to a police report. The pair had entered the wrong room at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach and refused to leave.

According to the report, de Lesseps “shoved” a police officer who responded to the scene and “slammed” the bathroom door on his forehead.

She was released 10 hours later, and took to Twitter to apologize for her behavior, expressing that it was her first time in Palm Beach since her wedding and subsequent split from her businessmen husband Tom D'Agostino.

The couple wed in a New Year's Eve ceremony last year, and divorced in September, after D’Agostino admitting to cheating on his wife.

In a statement on Facebook on Friday, the reality star apologized once again and stressed her actions do not reflect her character.

"After the events of last Saturday night in Palm Beach, I am truly embarrassed. I have decided to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking into an alcohol treatment center," she wrote. "I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event."

"Once again, I sincerely apologize for my actions. I have the greatest respect for police officers and the job they do," she continued. "My actions alleged in the police report do not reflect my core values and my law abiding character. I am so grateful for the love and support that I am receiving from my family, friends and loyal supporters."
