A new exhibit at the Rochester Museum & Science Center is part of a unique collaboration between the National Institutes of Health and the Smithsonian Institution that takes visitors inside the world of genome science.

Genome: Unlocking Life's Code runs through April 29 at RMSC. Ashley Doerzbacher gave us a sneak peek at the exhibit when it opened in January.

Dr. Jonathan Friedberg, director of the Wilmot Cancer Institute, joined us on Good Day Rochester, along with Calvin Uzelmeier, RMSC director of featured content. They helped explain more about the exhibit and how genomic research can aid in cancer research.
