How scoliosis can affect adults
Scoliosis is a problem that most often develops in kids, but can also be possible for adults.
Scoliosis is the most common deformity of the spine and leads to excessive sideways or forward curves.
For adults, the curve may be a remnant of scoliosis that developed during childhood. But most commonly, adult scoliosis is a result of the spinal wear and tear that comes with aging.
Dr. Mark Pichelmann from the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida joined us on Good Day Rochester with information on how to ease scoliosis systems.
