Local woman hoping to empower those battling cancer with 'JingleBallZ'
Shari Hall Smith has been dealing with cancer in some way for more than 25 years. Three years ago, she found out her cancer had returned and metastasized. She was told there was no cure, but she still refused to give.
As she undergoes experimental treatment, she was inspired by a bracelet given to her by a friend.
She launched a new project called got ballZ. It's a line of jewelry and merchandise meant to empower those battling cancer to fight it head on. For the holiday season, JingleBallZ are available.
Shari joined us on Good Day Rochester to show off the bracelets, share her story and explain how her products are giving hope to those facing cancer.
