Music event held in memory of Brittanee Drexel
An event coming up this week is helping raise money for services and support for families of missing people and human trafficking victims.
Bands for Brittanee runs from noon-8 p.m. Saturday at The Rock Shrimp Co. on Lake Avenue in Charlotte. It's benefiting the Brittanee's Little Angels Foundation, in memory of Brittanee Drexel, a Chili teen who was kidnapped and killed in Myrtle Beach, S.C. in 2009.
The music lineup includes Scorpions tribute Band "Fate4" and Too Tall Tom. The event costs $15 (kids age 12 and under are free) and also features raffles and a silent auction.
Brittanee Drexel's mother, Dawn, joined us on Good Day Rochester along with event organizer Doc Wiggins.
