RIT helping women pursue careers in physics

RIT is working on an ongoing initiative to help more women pursue careers in physics.

There's currently a big gender gap in the field, and experts say it put the U.S. at a major disadvantage when it comes to research.

RIT Prof. Jeyhan Kartaltepe and grad student Brittany Vanderhoof joined us on Good Day Rochester to explain more about why it's so important to have women studying physics, and what RIT is doing to help.
