Early taste of Thanksgiving at NY Wine & Culinary Center

Honey nut squash barley risotto with a cranberry relish and fresh parmigiana

Canandaigua, N.Y. -- Thanksgiving is coming up two weeks from today, and the New York Wine & Culinary Center is sharing some ideas that can add some new twists to your holiday meals.

The center is offering classes to show you how to create some unique dishes and pairings. Thanksgiving Sides With a Twist is happening Saturday from noon-2:30 p.m. It costs $55 to sign up.

Dishes includes butternut squash and barley risotto, cranberry walnut sage dressing, grain pancakes with apple cider glaze, and more.
