Local shelter rescuing animals, helping young adults get jobs

Ashley Doerzbacher shows us some of the animals at Cracker Box Palace.

Sodus, N.Y. -- Cracker Box Palace has been helping give animals a second chance for nearly 30 years, but the shelter does more than that.

The farm is also the site for the STEADY Work (Skills, Training and Employment Access for the Development of Youth) program, geared toward underemployed young adults age 18-24 in Wayne County.

Ashley Doerzbacher visited the shelter this morning to show us how it's helping those young adults find jobs in addition to helping animals.
