Playground in memory of Webster boy opening this weekend

Jack's Place opens Sunday at noon at Rothfuss Park in Penfield

Penfield, N.Y. -- A playground built in memory of a 3-year-old boy from Webster is set to open this weekend.

Jack Heiligman died in a lawnmower accident last fall. His family is keeping his memory alive by building the dinosaur-themed playground, painted blue for Jack's favorite color, at Rothfuss Park in Penfield.

The park opens Sunday at noon. Ashley Doerzbacher joined Jack's family at "Jack's Place" this morning as they put the finishing touches on the playground. They also talked about their other future plans for the JACK Foundation in his memory.
