Deputies: Waterloo man sexually abused, raped young girl
Waterloo, N.Y. WHAM) - Investigators with the Seneca County Sheriff's Office arrested a Waterloo man Thursday in a child sex abuse case.
According to deputies, 60-year-old Lloyd Morlang was taken into custody around 7 p.m.
Morlang allegedly raped the victim multiple times while the victim was under the age of 15.
Investigators added that Morlang sent sexual pictures and text messages to the victim between July 2016 and April 2017.
Deputies charged Morlang with two counts of felony rape 2nd, two counts of felony criminal sexual act 2nd, felony disseminating indecent material to minors 1st, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Morlang was arraigned and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail.
He is scheduled to be back in the Waterloo Town Court.
Investigators worked with Seneca County Child Protective Services, New York State Division of Parole, and the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes.
