Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Monroe County grand jury voted Friday to indict a Penfield man for allegedly strangling his girlfriend in front of their toddler.

Bradley Grayson, 29, was indicted on charges of strangulation 2nd, assault 3rd, criminal mischief 4th, and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to a police report, the girlfriend in this case reported that she got into an argument with Grayson, her boyfriend.

According to deputies, the argument turned physical when Grayson punched her multiple times, and strangled her to the point of almost losing consciousness.

Investigators say the entire incident happened while the couple's 2-year-old child and Grayson's mother were in another room.

The victim told deputies that when she tried to call for help, Grayson took the phone from her.

Grayson remains in the Monroe County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.
