DANSVILLE, N.Y. (WHAM) - A 15-year-old girl remains hospitalized with serious injuries Tuesday after a crash last month in Dansville.

Livingston County Sheriff's investigators say on December 23, four cars and a box truck crashed on Rt. 390 North around 2:45 p.m.

Deputies say one of the vehicles lost control due to the snow and ice on the roads, which caused a chain reaction crash.

Four people were trapped inside one of the cars involved. They were all taken to Noyes Memorial Hospital to be treated. The 15-year-old girl riding in that car was ultimately taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester where she still remains and is receiving treatment for her injuries. Several others that were involved in the collision were treated and released at the scene.

Northbound lanes of Rt. 390 between Exit 3 and Exit 4 were shut down for three hours.
