Police investigation shuts down section of Curlew Street Monday

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - Rochester Police shut down a section of a street in northwest Rochester Monday morning.

Officers were called to the area of Curlew Street, which is located between Emerson Street and Lexington Avenue, after receiving a report of someone menacing with a gun.

The area was secured and searched as a precaution. Police say the area was later determined to be safe, and it was reopened. No arrests were made.
