Police: Waterloo man arrested with 5 lbs. of marijuana

Geneva, N.Y. (WHAM) - Police in Geneva said they arrested a Waterloo man Tuesday for having five pounds of marijuana in his car.

Officers said they pulled over a car on E. North Street around 4:15 p.m.

The driver, 39-year-old John Dickson, was found to be driving with a suspended license and without an ignition interlock device.

While searching the car, officers found the marijuana.

Police arrested Dickson and charged him with felony second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, three counts of aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device.

Dickson is being held without bail due to prior felony convictions.
