RPD looking for driver who ran from Lyell Ave hit-and-run crash
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - Rochester Police are looking for a driver who was involved in a hit-and-run crash overnight Thursday.
According to officers, a car driving down Lyell Avenue shortly after midnight was hit from behind by a van near Mt. Read Blvd.
Police said the driver of the van got out of the vehicle and ran away.
The driver of the car that was hit, a 37-year-old Rochester woman, complained of neck pain and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital via AMR Ambulance.
The investigation is ongoing.
