Woman charged with setting fire to Kestrel St. house
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Rochester woman was arrested Monday and charged with arson for a house fire last month.
According to the Rochester Arson Task Force, 26-year-old Keyoni Adams was charged with setting the fire.
On July 14, Rochester firefighters were called shortly before 5 a.m. about a small fire next to a home on Kestrel Street. When they arrived, they found someone who lived at the home trying to extinguish the fire with a garden hose.
Investigators helped to put out the fire and determined it was intentionally set. Two families were home when the fire was allegedly set
Adams was arrested and charged with arson 2nd. Police said she set the fire after having an argument with one of the people living in the multi-unit house.
No one was injured or forced from their home as a result of the fire.
Adams is currently in the Monroe County Jail pending her arraignment.
