Four bodies are recovered from the Tennessee River this weekend in two separate incidents .
The bodies of two men were recovered at the Saltillo boat ramp off Highway 69 in Hardin County on Saturday afternoon after an SUV entered the Tennessee River and became completely submerged. according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The driver, 64-year-old Ritchie Weaver, of Milledgeville, Tn., is believed to have escaped and then drowned. The passenger is identified as 63-year-old Ronnie Steele, of Bethel Springs, Tn. The bodies have been sent to the medical examiner.
Just before 11 p.m. Saturday, two men were recovered in Eagle Bay Marina on the Tennessee River in Humphreys County after their boat capsized and hit a boat slip at a high rate of speed. according to the sheriff's office. Michael Keele and Christopher Young are identified as the two local men killed in the accident. The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency is investigating the accident.
