Victor lacrosse earns third straight state championship
Going for a three-peat is a tall task for any program, but on Saturday in the Class B Finals, the game was never in question for Victor. The Blue Devils were ahead 7-1 at the half and kept their foot on the gas the entire game. Victor beat Yorktown 9-3 to solidify their third straight New York state title. Junior goalie, Chayse Ierlan had 6 saves for the Blue Devils while seven different Victor players scored. The Blue Devils have now won their second championship in Class B, while last year they won the title in Class A.
