Pittsford's quest for a New York State hockey title will have to wait at least one more season.

The Panthers lost to Williamsville North 3-2 in the Division I championship on Sunday. Pittsford is still looking for the program's first ever state title on the ice.

Connor Haims started the scoring for the Panthers, giving them a 1-0 lead in the first. But the next three goals would go to Williamsville North.

It wasn't until there were six minutes remaining that the Panthers would get one back thanks to John Mozrall.

But despite a furious rush in the final thirty seconds, time would run out on Pittsford's season.
