Fisher students prepare for annual 24-hour dance marathon

The annual Teddi Dance for Love, a 24-hour dance marathon benefiting Camp Good Days and Special Times, is coming up this weekend at St. John Fisher College.

The 37th annual dance-a-thon runs from 8 p.m. Friday through 8 p.m. Saturday inside the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Athletic Center.

Students are hoping to raise a record-setting $90,000 for the Teddi Project, which sends a group of children on a week-long trip to amusement parks in Florida.

The event is open to the public. 13WHAM's Jenna Cottrell will serve as honorary event chair.

Student chair Allison Smith joined us on Good Day Rochester to talk about what's happening at this year's event and how you can help.
