Airport Games benefiting Lifetime Assistance

The fire truck pull is the headlining event for Saturday's Airport Games, but there will be several other activities happening as well.

More teams are needed for the annual Airport Games, coming up this weekend.

It's one a one-of-a-kind competition that pits teams against each other to see who can pull a 45-ton fire truck furthest.

The event benefits Lifetime Assistance, which helps provide opportunities for people with disabilities. It's happening Saturday morning at the USAirport Hangar on Scottsville Road, with registration opening at 7 a.m.

Aside from the fire truck pull, other activities include the USAirports 5K, the Flower City CrossFit 5K, a kids fun run and many other activities for people of all ages, as well as food and music.

Joe Manuse, a fire prevention officer in Gates, and Kevin Head, who's walking in the event for Lifetime Assistance, joined us on Good Day Rochester this morning.
