Author highlights importance of right & wrong amid #MeToo movement

Author Alena Chapman is visiting the Rochester area this week. She's signing copies of her book The Prison Effect at Barnes & Noble in Webster tomorrow from 7-9 p.m.

This morning, she joined us on Good Day Rochester, talking about the need for people to get back to the basics of what's right and what's wrong, amid the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements.

She says parents need to have conversations with their kids about those topics in order for us all to move forward together. She also talked about her organization, Savvy Sisterhood, which helps women learn, grow and bond with each other.
