Eastman School of Music Presents: Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine
As part of their "Eastman Presents" concert series, the Eastman School of Music, in collaboration with RocMaidan and the Ukranian Federal Credit Union will be hosting the Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine this Tuesday at 7:30 PM at Kodak Hall. The performance will be led by Ukranian-American conductor Maestro Theodore Kuchar and will feature soloist, and Eastman violin professor Oleh Kryssa.
In addition to the show, RocMaidan and UFCU will be sponsoring humanitarian relief efforts for the citizens of war-torn Ukraine.
"We appreciate this opportunity to collaborate with the Eastman School of Music to raise awareness for the horrific tragedy unfolding daily in Ukraine," says RocMaidan volunteer Tim Sukhenko, "the devastation we are all witness to has been made worse by the arrival of a bitterly cold winter. They need our help now more than ever."
The Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra has toured all over the world and is known for their message of hope and resilience during Ukraine's time of war and instability.
