Irondequoit High School is celebrating Black History Month by highlighting lesser-known historical figures who made a major impact.
Students and staff are collaborating with the Our Voices Project and E.R.A.S.E. on a four-part video series.
The first installment featured Maria Stewart, an activist who used her voice to fight for civil rights.
Student Selena Eyob and counselor Jenna Zahariev, who's also an advisor for the school's Mosaic Club, joined us on Good Day Rochester to discuss the project.
