Irondequoit High School is celebrating Black History Month by highlighting lesser-known historical figures who made a major impact.

Students and staff are collaborating with the Our Voices Project and E.R.A.S.E. on a four-part video series.

The first installment featured Maria Stewart, an activist who used her voice to fight for civil rights.
