Foodlink's Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables (JSY) program is working to help those struggling to put healthy food on the table.
The program provides nutrition education and obesity prevention programming to low-income clients of the emergency food network.
Foodlink also offers JSY classes on cooking with fruits and vegetables every Thursday and select Saturdays from November through June at the Rochester Public Market.
Foodlink nutrition educators Marcy McMahon and Desiree Bass joined us this morning with a recipe for pomegranate spinach salad and pomegranate relish. They also talked more about what the JSY program does.
