Local program helps Parkinson's patients stay active

There's a local program giving people with Parkinson's disease a chance to stay active and boost their health.

It's called the Parkinson's Wellness Recovery Workshop, through Thrive Physical Therapy.

Thrive founder Ashley Lorch joined us on Good Day Rochester to explain how the program works and how it's helping those battling Parkinson's.

You can learn more about the program at a free event Friday from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the Rochester Brainery.
