RAPA presents 'The Wild Party'

Performances run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through the end of the month at the Kodak Center for the Performing Arts.

RAPA's production of "The Wild Party, The Musical" kicks off tonight and runs through July 30 at the Kodak Center for the Performing Arts.

The story follows Queenie and Burrs, a showbiz couple in a dysfunctional relationship who decide to throw an all-night party.

Performances are scheduled for each of the next three Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. The show is recommended for mature audiences due to its adult themes.

Actress Courtney Maxwell (Queenie) and program director Eric Vaughn Johnson joined us on Good Day Rochester to give us a preview and explain how the show is also partnering with local LGBT organizations as part of a fundraiser.
