(WHAM-TV) -- The Maker Faire returns to the Convention Center for the sixth year on Saturday. It features more than 200 creative "makers" who take part in the event that's a mix between a science fair, carnival and craft show.

You'll be able to see inventions such as fire breathing trumpets from Adam Foster, custom 12-foot robotic wings from Jane Does Costumes, giant skee-ball and even a model of the Apollo Landing Module by Barry Nobles.

Dan Schneiderman and some of the makers joined Good Day Rochester's Michael Schwartz on Thursday to show off some of the creations. Schneiderman is a co-chair of the Maker Faire who was inspired to bring the event to Rochester after attending Buffalo's Maker Faire.

NYSCATE (New York Association for Computers and Technology in Education) is the parent company to the Maker Faire. People coming for its conference, as well as other from around the country will make up the more than 2,000 people expected on Saturday.

Online tickets are cheaper than at the door, and can be purchased here.
