Team Great Britain in the 2016 Simpson Cup

Pittsford, N.Y. - More than two dozen injured veterans and servicemen, are celebrating their bravery and camaraderie through golf. The fifth annual Simpson Cup began Tuesday morning at Oak Hill Country Club.

The annual Ryder Cup-style event benefits a charity called "On Course Foundation." It uses golf to help injured servicemen and women get their lives back on course.

Players from the United States and United Kingdom will play against each other on the course.

As Doug Emblidge reports on day one of the two-day tournament, there's no shortage of inspirational stories.
