Therapy dogs help students at Pal-Mac schools

Students at Palmyra-Macedon Primary School spend time with two of the school's therapy dogs on their way into class this morning.

Palmyra, N.Y. -- The Palmyra-Macedon Central School District is working brighten students' days and boost their performance in the classroom using canine friends.

The district has therapy dogs in it schools at all times. The dogs can be found roaming the halls, hanging out in the nurse's office, or even having kids read to them.

Ashley Doerzbacher visited the Pal-Mac primary and high schools this morning to see how the program is helping many students.
