(FOX Rochester) "City Sense" is a unique new home store opening up next week on Rochester's east end.

In order to open at that location, the store's founder, Dani Polidor won the city's "Race for Space" contest.

The contest was organized by the Young Entrepreneurs Academy. Contestants made their pitches for their best downtown ideas to a group a judges, and Polidor won it all.

She now has free rent for a year to house her new store which includes live cooking demonstrations, wine and food pairings, and local artists.

Polidor sat down with us on Good Day Rochester Tuesday morning.
