VOA celebrates 118 years in Rochester

Volunteers of America Upstate New York is marking 118 years of service to the Rochester are this month.

The organization serves more than 4,000 people every year through programs for children in poverty, at-risk youth, homeless individuals and families, veterans, seniors and people who have been incarcerated.

Angie Harbin, regional vice president of housing services, and Rob Stedman, vice president of services for children and families, joined us this morning to talk more about how the VOA helps those people and 118 years is a significant number for the organization.
