Brockport, N.Y. -- The Corning GlassBarge is spending another weekend in the Rochester area.
This time, it's in Brockport, with live glassblowing demonstrations happening today through Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. each day.
The event is commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Brooklyn Flint Glass Company relocating to Corning by traveling on New York state's waterways.
Online tickets are sold out for the event this weekend, but some walk-ins will still be accepted.
The GlassBarge will be in our area again Wednesday in Spencerport, and again Aug. 25-26 in Pittsford, Aug. 28 in Palmyra and Sept. 1-3 in Seneca Falls.
Samantha Miles visited the barge this morning to learn about its history and what the Corning Museum of Glass has in store for crowds this weekend.
