Ed Popil has been performing for many years locally as his alter ego, Mrs. Kasha Davis. And for one night only, Mrs. Kasha Davis is bringing back her one woman show, There's Always Time for a Cocktail, to the JCC of Greater Rochester.

The show was written by Popil, and directed by Ralp Meranto, and debuted in 2014. There's Always Time for a Cocktail is the true life story of Popil's journey from growing up in Scranton, Pennsylvania to becoming a drag superstar. With every new life event, the script is updated. One of those life events includes being on RuPaul's Drag Race (season 7).

The show is on Wednesday, January 23 at the JCC CenterStage Theatre. To buy tickets, click here. Mrs. Kasha Davis is then taking the show on the road.

Ashley Doerzbacher spent the morning learning about the show, other events happening at the JCC and even about the children's book Mrs. Kasha Davis wrote.
