Farmington duo charged with robbing gas station

Geneva, N.Y. – Two people from Farmington have been charged with the robbery of a Fastrac in Geneva.

Police say they responded to the Fastrac on Hamilton Street Saturday morning for the report of a robbery. They say an undisclosed amount of money and other items were taken, and that the suspects left the scene in a vehicle stolen from a nearby location.

After an investigation, 44-year-old Jennifer Bronson and 43-year-old Paul Gilliam were arrested and charged with robbery. Bronson was remanded to jail on $25,000 cash bail/$50,000 bond. Gilliam was remanded to jail without bail due to prior convictions. Geneva Police say he was also questioned by Rochester Police in regard to a bank robbery in their jurisdiction.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office also assisted with the investigation.
