Inaugural Seize the Day: Amer's Epilepsy Trail Run
The All American Home Care, Glover-Crask Charitable Foundation, and Armbruster Capital Management are presenting the Inaugural Seize the Day: Amer’s Epilepsy Trail Run.
Amer Armbruster and his father Mark Armbruster, who helped organize the event, joined Good Day Rochester ahead of the event to talk about the upcoming event and spreading awareness about epilepsy.
Seize the Day, a 5K and 10K trail race, will be held on Sunday, August 14th, 2022 at Mendon Ponds Park, in Mendon NY. The race will start and end at the North Meadow Trailhead, located on Canfield Road, between Douglas Road and Pittsford-Mendon Center Road. Registration starts at 8:00 am, and the race starts at 9:00 am. Participants can register online for $35 at epiny.org/seizetheday.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Epilepsy Alliance of West Central New York, the epilepsy services division of Empowering People’s Independence (EPI) and support services for children and adults with epilepsy in our region.
