Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - Rochester fire investigators have identified the person whose body was found inside a burning home on Hooker Street earlier this week.

The Rochester Fire Department said Friday it identified the man found in the house as 32-year-old Evan Chandler Parker.

The Monroe County Medical Examiner said the cause of death appears to be smoke inhalation.

The fire does not appear to be suspicious at this point, according to fire investigators.

There is still an open investigation on this fire.
