Police: Holley man drove drunk, crashed into house

    Murray, N.Y. (WHAM) - State Police arrested a man from Holley on Saturday after troopers said he drove drunk and hit a house.

    Troopers were called to the intersection of State Route 104 and State Route 237 in the town of Murray for a vehicle that reportedly crashed into a house.

    When troopers arrived, they found 44-year-old Lawrence Lentz behind the wheel. After speaking with him, troopers said he showed signs of being intoxicated.

    Troopers took Lentz into custody after he failed several sobriety test and brought him to State Police barracks in Albion, where he underwent a breathalyzer test. Police said Lentz had a 0.11 BAC.

    Lentz was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI. He was issued traffic tickets and is scheduled to return to court later this month.
