Barack Obama was voted as the best president of a lifetime in a recent study by the Pew Research Center.

The organization asked people to choose the best and second best presidents of their lifetime. Obama led the way with 44 percent, Bill Clinton was next at 33 percent, followed by Ronald Reagan's 32 percent and Donald Trump at 19 percent. Broken down by generation, the survey showed millennials largely favored Obama while Gen Xers and Baby Boomers have Reagan rated just ahead of Obama.

Most of the Democrats also rated Obama as their best president, while the majority of Republicans preferred Reagan.

Pew Research Center says they surveyed 2,002 adults between June 5 and June 12.
