Pittsford lacrosse on to first state title game


The Pittsford boys lacrosse team is headed to the first state championship game in the program's history after an 11-8 win over Baldwinsville in the Class A semifinals. The Panthers trailed for most of the first half, but came back to tie the game at 6 at the break., Pittsford dominated the second half by winning face offs and maintaining possession for the second half. Colby Barker led the Panthers with 5 goals. Pittsford will play for the Class A state title on Saturday at noon at St. John Fisher against Ward Melville.
