ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHAM) - In honor of the 1993 Bill Murray film, the Rochester Red Wings are celebrating Groundhog Day Night this summer.

On Friday, June 29, Rochester's baseball team will be welcoming a special guest to Frontier Field: Punxsutawney Phil.

The prognosticating rodent will be the guest of honor for Salute to Groundhog Day Night. A group of Phil's tuxedoed and top-hatted handlers will be on hand, as well.

One-of-a-kind jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Red Wings Community Foundation.

Groundhog Day t-shirts will be given away at the game; the shirts will not be available at the gate.

More information on the night can be found here.
