Top seeds advance in Class A, as Taryn Wilson puts in school record 43 for HF-L

Last season, Pittsford Mendon and HF-L won the Class A1 and A2 titles, before meeting in the Class A qualifier.

This year, they could be on a collision course once again, but not if Aquinas has anything to say about it.

Mendon used a typical balanced attack to defeat Greece Athena 54-24. HF-L meanwhile got an historic performance from senior Taryn Wilson, who poured in a school-record 43 points in the 50 point win over School of the Arts.

Aquinas, however, is the top seed in Class A2 this year, and they also look the part of a potential champ with a 77-48 win over East.
